Currently listening to the Sea Shanties For Thots playlist on Spotify as I celebrate the fact that I’ll actually be sharing these shows with the world in a mere two months. Can you believe that?????? I can’t WAIT for rehearsals to start next Wednesday; I’ve grown immensely as an artist and human since my last outing as a director, and I’ve got no doubt that will be reflected in these shows. With a wonderful cast to collaborate with, the journey is only just beginning.

As far as other creative projects are concerned, there isn’t too much to update. The last month has mostly been dedicated to prepping for The Saguaro Dove and Love In The Mirror. I’ve always felt like slight hiatuses in writing/composing have led to work that comes back even stronger, so there are no worries. My goal over the next few months is to finish writing the last few songs for Rise and Grind - THAT show will be a truly massive undertaking, but I don’t think I’ll ever truly be able to relax until it finds its way to a stage.
